Our #MeetTheCast&CrewMondays goes to our lovely Year 11 student - Ellena! Ellena has been apart of every school production at Crofton School and is very exciting to be apart of Sweeney Todd. Ellena plays the Beggar Woman (AKA- Sweeney Todds Wife- Lucy Barker).
Lucy Barker is a loving wife to Sweeney Todd and looks after baby Johanna until it is all destroyed by Judge Turpin. Lucy looses everything and as a result of this- poisons herself.
Although she survived, she goes completely insane and disappears to live as a Beggar Woman.
Will Sweeney Todd and Lucy Barker get their happy ever after? Will Todd finally recognise his long lost wife?
