Equipping Students With Employability Skills

Leaving school to enter the world of work, further training or education is both an exciting and daunting time.

Last academic year we delivered over 125 Talk About The Future Workshops, supporting over 3,700 students preparing to leave school or college.

Our Talk About The Future workshop is aimed at students who are either in their final year of secondary school or in Sixth Form – with a focus on developing their communication, confidence and skills to enable them to engage more effectively with employers, colleges and universities. From learning about preparing for an interview to talking about their life experiences, nurturing their presentation skills to exploring the impact of personal anecdotes. This workshop supports students to leave school by developing the competencies needed to take this next step with confidence.
