The autumn exam series has now been confirmed and the details are enclosed. The exam series will run from Monday 2 November until Monday 23 November.
Should you wish to sit an exam in the Autumn we will be asking for a holding fee for each entry, on the understanding that this will cover the fee should a student decide not to sit the exam. This will need to be a cheque, made payable to Hampshire County Council, which will only be cashed if the candidate fails to sit the exam. Otherwise the school will cover the entry fee in full. Entries will be made once the cheque has been received.
The exception to this is if you are moving school or college in the autumn and will be continuing to study English or maths because you achieved a grade 3 or below. In that case you should speak to your new school or college who will arrange entries for you.
The final entry date for GCSE’s except English Language & Maths is Midday Friday 18 September and for English Language & Maths is Midday Friday 2 October. All holding fees must be received by this date. Please confirm the subject(s) & fee if you would like to be entered by emailing wwollaston@croftonschool.co.uk
Yours sincerely, Mrs W Wollaston Examinations Officer
