The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new online chat platform called 'FUTURE STEPS' to support Year 11 students throughout the summer months. Future Steps is an online chat platform offering impartial online chat support, dedicated to supporting young people during the pandemic and over the summer holidays when schools and colleges are closed. Young people can use the chat platform to get advice about their next steps, or seek reassurance about their chosen options, whether that’s moving on to sixth form or college or starting an apprenticeship.
Future Steps will be available for chat over the summer months and on results day to support students and their parents/carers with any questions, worries or advice they might need. The chat platform is impartial and staffed by SUN College Progression Mentors, undergraduate students from across the partner universities and qualified Careers Advisers.
I am emailing you today with a SUN Future Steps media pack. The pack is designed to help promote the Future Steps online chat platform to your colleagues, students and their parents/ carers.
