Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of term, I am writing with some updates and reminders ahead of the Easter break and the start of the summer term.
Spring is a time when renewal and rebirth are very much on our minds, and with the gradual easing again of lockdown restrictions I hope you are sensing the same optimism and enthusiasm from your children that we are seeing from them in school. The students’ response since the return to full school attendance has been excellent. They have coped well with new rules and systems, engaged well in lessons, and I particularly want to congratulate our Year 11s who have had to cope with the additional challenge of GCSE assessments.
We are not planning to make any major changes to our current Covid-19 related measures for the start of next term. However, the government are currently reviewing their guidance for schools and are expected to announce any changes next week. I will write to all parents again before the end of the Easter break with any further information you need to be aware of...
