Dear Year 7 Parents and Carers,
I am sorry to inform you that we will be unable to go ahead with our ‘meet the tutor’ event tomorrow afternoon on the school site. This event was planned based on existing guidance, however yesterday the Local Authority released newly updated guidance to all schools on such events. Following discussion with the Local Authority Public Health team today, it is clear that the new guidelines mean the event cannot go ahead on site.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause, and that we are unable to allow these face to face meetings with your child’s tutors to go ahead. The Year 7 tutor team were very much looking forward to meeting you, and we still want to ensure this discussion can go ahead. Therefore, your child’s tutor will call you at the planned appointment time tomorrow. Please ensure you are available at this time to take the call, as the tutors will be unable to call at an alternative time tomorrow.
