Important News from Headteacher - School Closure

Dear Parents and Carers

We were notified, at 04.30 hours this morning, that the Met Office Weather alert status for Hampshire has been raised to a RED alert meaning a threat to life. The Local Authority has therefore advised that all Hampshire schools should remain closed today.

Therefore Crofton School will be closed today, Friday 18th February

It is the school’s intention to provide home learning for the day which will be accessible via Satchel One. Please ask your children to check Satchel One for this after 8.30 am. We are aware some areas are experiencing disruption to power supplies and internet connectivity, so please be aware this may not be possible in all cases.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and your family. However, I am sure you will understand that under the circumstances closure is unavoidable.
