Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the latest changes to measures for schools announced last night, I am writing to update you on what we know so far and I hope provide some reassurance on what is already in place to support your child.
The key points of last night’s announcement that affect Crofton students are:
The school will only be open to vulnerable children and the children of critical workers until February half term. All other students will learn remotely.
Summer exams will not go ahead as planned this summer, the government instead will consult ‘rapidly’ on alternative arrangements.
No further specific schools’ guidance has been published at the time of writing, once this is received we will of course review our plans and let you know if any further changes are required to our plans...
