Message for all parents and carers from Mr Harrison

Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to confirm that all year groups can attend school as normal from tomorrow, Thursday 24 March. Although staff absence levels are still high they have improved sufficiently for us to be able to cover all lessons for the remainder of the week. Thank you for your support over the last week, Covid -19 continues to pose challenges for all of us, but we will continue to do everything we can to minimise the disruption this is causing to your children.

Whilst positive cases of Covid-19 remain so high, locally and nationally, we will maintain all of our current on site safety measures, which are already well in excess of government guidance. You can help us by:

· Ensuring you do not send your child to school if they have any symptoms of Covid-19

· Continuing the use Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) where possible. Although the school is no longer being supplied with these to distribute to students, they can be ordered free of charge online until 1 April here.

We hope there will be no further need for additional measures to manage the impact of staff absence. However, this is an unpredictable and fast changing situation so there can be no guarantees of this, despite the efforts we are all making in school and at home. I will contact you as soon as possible should any further actions be necessary.
