Dear Parents and Carers,
We are looking forward to our non-school uniform day on Friday 1st April where we hope to raise money to support our school charity work, including supporting the Ukraine.
We would like to further clarify our expectations on what can be worn so that there are no misunderstandings on the day:
Normal expectations about hair colour and piercings will apply.
For health and safety reasons pupils may not wear high heels or backless shoes, however trainers may be worn.
Clothing and slogans that are inappropriate for a mixed age school environment will not be permitted.
The expectations for skirt length should be no different to those worn for school uniform, bare midriffs and low-cut tops or trousers/tops that reveal underwear are not considered appropriate.
Can I please stress that it is not a fancy-dress day. If the attire of a student is considered inappropriate for school they will be sent home to change. If you are in any doubt about the appropriateness of your child’s clothing do please contact us.
Other fundraising activities going on throughout the day are
Dress up in blue and yellow on Non-School uniform day - 1st April.
Bring cash! We will be doing a bake sale and lolly sale - posters around the school, have more details.
Donate Dried food goods - the ambassadors will be visiting tutor groups on the last week of term to collect items needed for a Charity who are delivering to an aid agency - more details to follow but no clothes just dry food items needed.
We hope that your son/daughter will enjoy the opportunity to raise money for this worthy cause.
Please pay via ScoPay if you have not already done so.
Many thanks for your support.
