Dear Parents and Carers,
We are looking forward to our non-school uniform day on Thursday 29th September where we hope to raise money to support our school charity work, including supporting the Canine partners.
We would like to further clarify our expectations on what can be worn so that there are no misunderstandings on the day:
Normal expectations about hair colour and piercings will apply.
For health and safety reasons pupils may not wear high heels or backless shoes, however trainers may be worn.
Clothing and slogans that are inappropriate for a mixed age school environment will not be permitted.
The expectations for skirt length should be no different to those worn for school uniform, bare midriffs and low-cut tops or trousers/tops that reveal underwear are not considered appropriate.
Can I please stress that it is not a fancy-dress day. If the attire of a student is considered inappropriate for school they will be sent home to change. If you are in any doubt about the appropriateness of your child’s clothing do please contact us.
We hope that your son/daughter will enjoy the opportunity to raise money for this worthy cause. This is the postponed event from the summer term so there is no need for parents to pay.
I will be sending out a letter shortly with regard to this year’s event.
Many thanks for your support.
