Joseph was looking for a placement while studying at university, now he is helping plan the train timetables and engineering works. Cloe joined VolkerRail straight after sixth form on an apprenticeship, now she is a junior engineer ensuring the overhead lines on trains are installed safely and correctly. Adedayo has been learning all about the different departments within Network Rail’s graduate scheme; he’s hoping that his experiences will ultimately allow him to work abroad and experience the ‘global railway’.
