I am delighted to be writing to you for the first time as your son/daughter’s Head of Year. In these uncertain times, I feel it is important to provide you and your family with some clarity and information which will support transition from your primary school to Crofton School.
Firstly, I am disappointed to inform you that we will be unable to offer our normal transition days on Thursday 9 July and Friday 10 July 2020. Due to current government Coronavirus guidelines, we cannot safely host large numbers of students on our school site. We are therefore working closely with our feeder schools in order to provide your children with the best transition day experience as possible, whilst operating within strict Health and Safety guidelines. At present, this is likely to be a virtual meeting and we are working hard to prepare for this whilst your child has access to IT within their current school.
